The library does not routinely purchase the textbooks that you have been required to buy for class. Additionally, Instructors often do place items on reserve for use in class that are assigned in your course syllabus. Please check with your instructor if you have questions.
To find what is on reserve for your course, use the library catalog, BearCat, and search the Course Reserves Collection. You can search by course number, name, instructor or by the title of your reading.
Most reserve items are for use in the library only for a short period of time to facilitate use by everyone in your class. As with any library material, you need to present your SUNYCard ID to borrow.
If you expect an item to be on reserve and cannot locate it, please ask the staff or student assistants at the Circulation Desk or the librarian at the Research Help Desk for assistance.
