No, you can not request a book online and pick it up at the circulation desk. If library material you want is signed out, you can use the request link in the Circulation Status line to have the book held for you when it is returned. Any item with a hold request pending is not available for renewal for the current borrower
If a book is out and you need it sooner than the due date that displays in the Circulation Status, you may ask for another copy to be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan. Be sure to add a note to your ILL request to indicate that our copy is out on loan. Ask the staff at the Circulation or Research Help Desk to assist you if necessary.
If the "due date" value in the Circulation Status for the item you want indicates that it is available, then you need to come to the library to retrieve and borrow it.
