Crumb Library has two scanner options. Both are located directly behind the Help Desks on the main floor behind the stairs. The basic flatbed scanner requires a valid campus computer account (CCA) to log on to the attached workstation. Our Zeta book scanner is a top down scanner that works well for books and journals but can be used to scan any document. Scanned documents on the flatbed scanner are saved either to your shared server space on Helios or you can save to a USB drive. The Zeta scanner saves to a USB drive or emails scans as PDFs, JPEGs or TIF files.
Assistance in using the scanners is available at the Help Desk.
We do not have a fax machine - the Quick Market in Barrington Union faxes for a nominal charge. You may find scanning and sending by email to be a reasonable alternative.
