If you are off campus, just link to the database you want to use from anywhere on the Libraries' web pages.  There will be an automatic recognition that you are not on campus and an authentication screen will pop up.  Use your Campus Computer Account (CCA) and password to log on and you are ready to go.  We authenticate using a program called EZProxy

Just remember that you must link from the Libraries' web site in order to be prompted to authenticate.  Otherwise, proprietary databases (JSTOR for example) will not recognize you as a member of the SUNY Potsdam community and therefore eligible to use their product.

Issues with access during April 2015 have been resolved.  If you continue to have access issues, or experience new issues at any time, please contact us at library@potsdam.edu so that we can troubleshoot the problem.
