Members of the community, including students at the other Associated Colleges, SUNY schools and local high schools can obtain a library card at the Circulation Desks in Crumb or Crane Library to borrow materials.
Remote access to online library resources is limited to current students, faculty and staff. Most databases may be used by community members when physically present in the library. Computers in the cafe require no log on and provide Internet browsing (no printing). Computers in the Reference area in Crumb Library allow Internet access including library databases. Log on with the user name internet and password internet Use any browser to access to library databases. Printing is available at the cost of 10 cents per page. Printouts are picked up at the Crumb Circulation Desk.
A coin operated photocopier is available adjacent to the cafe. The Zeta scanner behind the Help Desks requires no log on and supports sending files via email or saving to a USB drive.
Interlibrary loan is offered to community members who are not affiliated with another college or school. You must first obtain a library card to establish an ILLiad borrowing account. Charges for Interlibrary loan are determined by the lending library although we will always seek to find a free lending source and you can indicate that you only want a freely available source. During peak ILL times in the semester, student and faculty requests are given priority.
