The majority of material in Crumb Library can be borrowed and used elsewhere. Most books, government documents and media can be borrowed though loan periods can vary depending on the material. You just need to present your SUNY Potsdam ID or community borrower card at the desk. See our Borrowing Policies page for the chart at the bottom showing borrowing periods by type of item and category of user.
Some items are "Library Use Only" - journals and magazines, material in the Reference Collection, items on reserve, and items in Special Collections/Archives fall into this category.
