Lending Replacement Costs

Advanced The following instruction is for Full-Time ILL staff only.
Borrowing libraries are responsible for borrowed materials and must pay replacement charges when items are lost or otherwise not returned.
Below are the base replacement costs by material/collection type. Cost is per volume for multi-volume sets. To each base cost, a $15.00 processing fee is also accessed.

Example: a standard book has a replacement cost of $48.00. With the $15.00 processing fee, the total replacement charge for that item is $63.00.
