Peer-reviewed articles are sometimes also referred to as scholarly and/or academic articles depending on your discipline.

Most of our online database vendors offer a feature for limiting to a particular type of article such as peer-reviewed.

For example, using our Academic Search Complete database, you can set the limit to peer reviewed articles when you enter your search or as you review your results.  Other databases offer the same feature -- just look for the option.

Your instructor will have given you some guidelines for how your discipline determines "peer-reviewed" so evaluate your results based on that information.
